Vintage Cellar Hands

Čuvar Winery is the new winery venture by Sir George and the Fistonich Family. We produce Bordeaux reds, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris from our own Hawkes Bay vineyards.

In 2025 we will produce small, high-quality batches through an historical winery with new equipment, based out at Bayview, Napier overlooking the sea. 

We are looking for Cellar Hands to help our small team make exceptional wines. To join us you must have some mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with pumps and machinery, but most importantly you must have an interest in the winemaking process with at least two vintages experience. One position will be a split between laboratory and cellar responsibilities. All positions will gain experience in each part of the winemaking process.

You must be available to work 7 days a week during the peak harvest period around mid-March to beginning of April, while following strict health and safety guidance. Commencement date is around the beginning to mid-February 2025.

We offer competitive wages ($28 – $30) per hour, depending on experience) and offer limited accommodation on site, if required.
