Cellar Door Manager

Become the welcoming face of Terrace Edge and create memorable experiences for our visitors. In this pivotal role, you’ll showcase our award-winning wines and organic practices while fostering connections with customers and wine enthusiasts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of our North Canterbury tasting room, ensuring exceptional visitor experiences.

• Build and maintain relationships with local patrons and loyal returning customers.

• Manage and grow our wine club, cultivating customer loyalty and engagement.

• Support sales and marketing efforts to boost wine sales and brand visibility.

• Assist with administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• A strong understanding of wine and a passion for viticulture.

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.

• Enthusiastic about sharing wine knowledge, with the ability to lead and inspire others.

• Proficient in software tools such as Outlook, Vinsight, and POS systems.

• Certification as a Cellar Door Manager is an advantage but not essential.

Sales Support Coordinator

Play a vital role in driving Terrace Edge’s success by supporting sales operations and ensuring seamless customer service. This is an exciting opportunity to grow our presence in local and international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer orders with precision, ensuring timely fulfillment and delivery.

• Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries from customers, distributors, and partners.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production team to ensure stock availability.

• Prepare and analyze sales reports to identify opportunities for growth.

• Support marketing efforts, including sales promotions, events, and campaigns.

• Maintain accurate customer records, sales databases, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM or inventory management software.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• A passion for wine and an interest in the wine industry are highly desirable.
