1. Cellar Door Manager

As the Cellar Door Manager, you will be the welcoming face of Terrace Edge, creating memorable experiences for our visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operations of our North Canterbury tasting room, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local customers and returning visitors.

• Drive wine sales and manage our Wine Club, fostering long-term customer engagement.

• Oversee inventory management and coordinate shipments to customers and retailers.

Qualifications:

• A solid knowledge and appreciation of wine.

• Exceptional customer service skills and excellent communication abilities.

• A passion for sharing wine knowledge and the ability to demonstrate leadership when needed.

• Proficiency in software tools such as Outlook, Vinsight, and POS systems.

• A Cellar Door Manager certificate is preferred but not required.

2. Warehouse Assistant

As the Warehouse Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our wine reaches customers in perfect condition while supporting other areas of the vineyard and cellar door operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy and safety of goods in the warehouse.

• Maintain detailed records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Pack and ship orders according to company standards and customer requirements.

• Set and monitor inventory safety levels to ensure stock availability.

• Provide support as needed at the cellar door or in the vineyard.

Qualifications:

• A basic understanding of and appreciation for wine.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• A team-oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate across roles.

• A service-oriented attitude with a commitment to excellence.

• Proficiency with common computer applications and systems.
