Booster, through its Booster Tahi investment arm, is making significant investments in New Zealand’s agricultural business sector including avocados, kiwifruit, and through investments in Awatere River, Waimea Estates, Bannock Brae and Sileni Estates, the wine industry. It is here where we are seeking dynamic, reliable team players to join our Nelson-based wineries.

Waimea Estates is located on the Waimea Plains and produces premium Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and a range of aromatics including Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Gruner Veltliner, Pinot Gris and Albariño.

Our Gravity Winery located at Mahana in the Moutere Hills, is a world-class, gravity-fed winery and bottling facility, where our focus is making premium Pinot Noir from our vineyards across several regions, along with finishing and bottling wines produced at the Booster Wine Group wineries.

We are currently recruiting for:

Permanent Cellar Hand – Waimea Estates

As a 2,500 tonne winery we can offer you a variety, hands-on involvement across numerous aspects of the winemaking process, and the opportunity to be part of a close-knit, friendly team who are dedicated to producing quality wines. You will have previous winery experience, a can-do attitude, an appetite for hard work, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bottling Line Assistant/Cellar Hand – Gravity Winery

Primarily assisting the Bottling Manager, you will be involved in every aspect of bottling and packaging a wide variety of wines from across the regions. This position also involves working in the cellar when required, including extended hours at vintage when it will be all hands on deck. You will have previous bottling line and/or winery experience, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a desire to be part of a small quality-focused team.
