Babich Wines Marlborough are seeking hard working, motivated Cellar Hands and Laboratory Technicians of all experience levels, to join our dedicated team.
Roles are varied and cover all aspects from grape receival through fermentation to blending. All applicants must speak fluent English, demonstrate strong organisational skills and work well under pressure. Previous experience and study in a wine-related field is preferred, but not essential.
You will gain experience with modern Winemaking techniques in our state-of-the-art 6,500T capacity winery. This six year old winery boasts some of the most current technologies in wine production. We produce award-winning wines including; Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Rosé, Gruener Veltliner and Albarinio.
We utilise various winemaking styles to create a wide range of wines from single vineyard and reserve wines, to larger commercial blends and 100% organic certified wines from our own organic vineyard.
Vintage typically runs from mid-March through to early-May. During the busiest period we run 2x12-hour shifts, seven days a week.
We provide a fun, friendly and safe team environment for you to work in. We can arrange accommodation, transport to and from the winery, and help with Visa applications if required. During 12-hour shifts a hot meal and fresh fruit is provided to keep you energised.
