Treasury Wine Estates is a globally recognised producer of leading wine brands including Matua, Shingle Peak, Squealing Pig, Penfolds, Wolf Blass and Pepperjack.
In this role you will work at the Matua site as part of a multi-disciplined Laboratory team who provide technical service and support to our winemaking and cellar teams. This is an exceptional opportunity to support one of TWE's key brands in a quality focused role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out quality control checks via routine sampling, testing and reporting
- Trouble-shooting and problem solving
- Maintaining and improving quality systems
- Supporting other team members of a close-knit team
To be successful in this role applicants should be experienced in the use and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation. Ideally candidates will hold a tertiary qualification in a scientific field and be able to work flexible hours during our peak harvest period.
Our lab team is expected to show exceptional analytical, problem solving, attention to detail and organisational skills. Working as a team and independently is important for our production.
Practical experience in the beverage/food industry will be highly regarded.
