At Delegat Group we are building a leading global Super Premium wine company. We have grown more than tenfold since 2003, and we aspire to grow even further in the future.
We have state-of-the-art wineries and world class vineyards in the prime grape-growing regions of New Zealand and Australia and focus exclusively on making the world’s most sought-after Super Premium wines and brands including Oyster Bay and Barossa Valley Estate. However, we believe deeply that it is our people that bring our plans to life, turn our goals into reality, and truly make the difference.
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for the repair and maintenance of all winery plant and equipment at our Marlborough winery. Reporting to the Winery Engineering Manager, this role has responsibility for undertaking day-to-day repairs as well as planned preventative maintenance to ensure all plant and equipment runs at optimum efficiency. As well as working autonomously, there will also be a need to supervise and work with contract service providers to the winery.
You will have technical expertise as well as a relevant trade qualification, along with experience gained in comparable industries, such as manufacturing and/or food/beverage.
Key to success is an ability to work as a team player and maintain close and effective relationships with other staff and contract service providers to create a harmonious working environment. This hands-on role requires a "can do" attitude, strong collaborative approach and a high attention to detail.
This full-time position of responsibility is offered within a stable and successful work environment. Flexibility in work hours is a requirement.
If you are hard-working, committed to quality and keen to work within a team of highly motivated, passionate wine people where your abilities will be recognised and contribution rewarded, please apply.
Only people eligible to work in this country should apply for this position. Please provide evidence of your work visa or citizenship.
