Trinity Hill Winery seeks an enthusiastic, organised and hard-working individual to join the existing winemaking team as Assistant Winemaker/Laboratory Technician.

The purpose of the role is to ensure all wines are bottled according to the Company’s agreed style/quality standards and deadlines by:

  • Assisting the Winemaker in maintaining and/or improving wine quality through every stage of the winemaking process via wine sensory assessment,
  • Production of timely and relevant analytical information, and
  • Accurate record keeping.

Applicants must have a minimum of two years wine production/cellar operations experience (including harvest), either as a cellar hand, laboratory technician or trainee winemaker; be trained in wine sensory assessment and proficient in wine production analytical procedures/laboratory skills.

Tertiary qualifications in winemaking/wine science, familiarity/experience with EzyWine winery management software, understanding of the legal requirements related to wine production, and a forklift license are desirable, but not essential.
