A note about public holidays to finish the year....

Christmas and New Year Public Holidays 2016/2017 Full details of how to pay your people public holiday pay is online here but briefly...
An employee is entitled to be paid for a public holiday without working it only if that day would otherwise be a working day for the employee. The Holidays Act 2003 provides in certain circumstances for the transfer of Christmas and New Year’s public holidays. Where a public holiday falls on a Sunday (Christmas / New Year's Days) and the day would otherwise be a working day for an employee, the public holiday will be observed on the Sunday for that employee. Where Sunday would not otherwise be working days for an employee, the public holidays will be observed on the following Tuesday. (Most of us this year).

I have found really that the quality of the people responding has been superior to those coming thru from the other ad. I guess only people with a genuine interest in the industry really go to this site, and also I have just come back from a few days away down country at a trade fair and I am surprised at the amount of people talking about the website.
