An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, hardworking Vineyard Operator to join our Viticultural team at Te Mata Estate. Te Mata Estate owns five vineyards spread around Havelock North and west of Hastings (Bridge Pa and the Gimblett Gravels).  

We are looking for a Vineyard Operator, whose primary role will be to operate state-of-the-art vineyard machinery and assist the Vineyard Manager in general vineyard activities.  

Ideally, you will have experience with vineyard operations such as canopy spraying, undervine weeding equipment (mowing or cultivation), trimming, mulching, mowing, leaf plucking etc.

We are looking for someone to join our team who is honest, reliable, hard-working, a great communicator and efficient with their time.  

The role will require some flexibility in working hours, in order to meet seasonal requirements.
